This range of premium efficiency cast iron motors (with cast feet for foot mounted designs) are suitable for many different standard and heavy duty industrial applications, including pumps and conveyers. The cast iron design has fixed feet making this design ideal for high vibration and rugged environments such as quarries as well as standard manufacturing and building service industries.

 

The european directive 98/34/EC calls for the introduction of IE2 motors from June 16th 2011 and IE3 motors from January 1st 2015.

Main specifications:

 

All Motors direct -IE3 motors are manufactured in accordance with IEC 34-1/9

For frames 80-160 the bearings are maintenance free lubricated with lithium-based grease.

For sizes 180-315 motors have bearings caps and grease points for easy maintenance.

Motors are fitted with V-seals. Thermistors are fitted as standard to sizes 100 and up.

Windings are vacuum pressure impregnated and made of high quality insulated wire and insulation material. The impregnation is a evaporation free process, suitable for tropical climate zones.

The rotors are dynamically balanced with half key, in accordance with IEC 34-14, class N (Normal)

Overload capability, in compliance with IEC 34, 1.5 times the rated current for 2 minutes and 1.6 times the rated torque for 15 seconds.

Mounting is available in B3, B5, B35.
